Stored my Kombucha Mushrooms in a Gallon Jar and left in a friends frig for about 2 years. Now they won't reproduce. Does anyone have one they can spare. I’am in Miami, Fl. If your not ; I’ll pay for the shipping .

Sun, March 23, 2008 - 8:30 AMYou can grow your own mushroom from a jar of original GT's kombucha. Just pour it into a jar and cover with a cloth. Let it sit for a week and it will form a scoby (mushroom) on top.

Wed, March 26, 2008 - 1:33 PMI have had success several times using a bottle of GT Dave's Kombucha - pour in a jar, add lukewarm, sugared tea and cover. In less than 2 weeks a scoby will form on top.
